MORE THAN AYSO -- TRI-COUNTY SOCCER OFFERS EXCELLENT TRAVEL YOUTH PROGRAM
It has been an exciting year in 2009/2010 as our name “Tri-County Soccer” from the merger of AYSO 417 and local travel program gains more name branding within the communities. In fact, Tri-County Soccer is known beyond the local community as a maverick region in piloting a program for better serving the community with full service soccer offerings at a fraction of the expenses. Whether the player is new to soccer or a skilled player, Tri-County Soccer offers an opportunity to compete at those various levels with the opportunity of professional and licensed trainers.

TCS Travel FAQ 2011-2012 Season

Justin Detter 2010 Soccer Academy
Dare to Compare ...Tri-County Soccer to other programs... TCS has a great quality and value program, with more than 40 licensed trainers and licensed coaches.
Tri-County Soccer is where kids learn to play soccer... since 1983 in the Fenton/Linden/Lake Fenton communities.
Tri-County Soccer is where kids learn soccer. It's a community based and supported soccer program with a national reputation. Its mission is to develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs which promote a competitive, yet fun and family environment for a fraction of the cost of other travel programs with Michigan.
1) For Tri-County Travel Players... the player and training fees for a full year is less than $300 per year. At the same time the players receive weekly training from the licensed training staff.
2) Tri-County Soccer has ex Professional Soccer Player (MLS) as a Trainer (Justin Detter Soccer Academy)
3) Tri-County Soccer has an Olympic Development Program (ODP) Coach with National "B" Coach License on Training Staff
4) Skilled Position -- Goal Keeper, Position, Finishing, Defending, Combination Play and Team Trainings are available.
5) Tri-County Soccer has 25 -- "E" Licensed Coaches and 10 -- "D" Licensed Coaches with both Michigan and National Certificates. Many of these Volunteer Coaches care about the values of "Player Development and Life Learning Opportunities."
6) Tri-County Soccer Travel Teams compete in the same leagues that many of the other Select/Travel Programs within Southeast Michigan. In fact, we are so competitive that many of the teams routinely place in the top 1/3 of their divisions.
7) Tri-County Soccer has been serving the Fenton, Linden and Lake Fenton area for 28 Years (since 1983). Over that time we have changed to meet the needs of the community. In 2000 through 2001, all of the travel programs and developmental programs came together to make a program that would best serve the community soccer communities... TRAVEL, DEVELOPMENTAL (Recreational), ADULTS, SPECIAL NEEDS and others... as a result TRI-COUNTY SOCCER was evolved from multiple years of discussion, planning and hard work from various volunteers.
8) Upwards of 65% of Player Fees go towards
-- Deer Run Complex -- Capital Improvements
-- Player League and Insurance Fees
-- Training for Players
-- Training for Coaches and Referees
NOT IN COACHES OR ADMINISTRATORS POCKETS.
